Before you start :

• Ensure the USB mode is set to [Normal] using the cameras [SETUP] menu. The PTP mode cannot be used with this operating system
• Ensure the current USB driver is installed on the computer. The driver can be found here 
• Connection through a USB hub or other USB device -- such as a printer or keyboard -- is not supported and cannot be guaranteed. Only connect the camera to a USB port on the computer.
  

Transfering Images to the Computer

• Turn on the computer.
• Turn on the camera.
• Insert the recording media containing the pictures into the camera.
• Connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable that was provided with the camera.
• On the desktop screen of the computer, double-click the My Computer icon.
• In the My Computer window, double-click the icon that represents the camera. Most digital still cameras will be represented by an icon that says Removable Disk.
• Your images can be found in the DCIM folder. You can either drag the complete folder or selected images to your computer and drop them into any (pre)defined folder on your Hard Disk.
