The REON POCKET won't connect to my smartphone. What should I do?
Check and follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue first:
- Check the version and model of the smartphone you are using.
- Make sure that your smartphone's Bluetooth function is turned on.
*If you are using Android, open the OS settings app, select the REON POCKET app, and check that the location information service is turned on. - Depending on the device:
- RNP-P1
- After turning the power on, press and hold the [SMART] button on the device for two seconds.
- RNP-5
- If the LED is not flashing blue, lightly press the button on the device.
- If the LED does not light up, charge the device sufficiently and then try again.
- RNP-P1
- With the device and smartphone close to each other, start the REON POCKET app and try to connect.
If the problem persists after performing steps 2 through 4 above, try the following procedures:
- Uninstall the REON POCKET app and install the latest version of the app from the app store again.
- Turn off your smartphone's Bluetooth function and then turn it on again.
- Depending on the device:
- RNP-P1
- After turning the power on, press and hold the [SMART] button on the device for 5 seconds, and then connect.
- (LED blinks blue repeatedly at 0.5 second intervals)
- RNP-5
- Hold down the button on the device for approximately 15 seconds to reset it, and then lightly press the button again.
- RNP-P1
- Start the app and try to connect.
