To help reduce image retention on your OLED TV, run the panel calibration process regularly. We recommend doing this each day you use the TV.
There are two ways to run panel calibration. Choose the option that works best for you.
Option 1: Leave the TV off overnight (Recommended)
- Press the Power button on the remote control to turn the TV off.
- Leave the TV turned off overnight.
Note: Don't unplug the AC power cord (mains lead) or cut off the power supply during this procedure.
Option 2: Run Manual OFF-RS Compensation
If you cannot leave the TV off overnight, you can manually start the panel calibration process.
Notes:- We recommend performing panel calibration each day you use the TV.
- Do not unplug the AC power cord (mains lead) or disconnect the TV from the power supply during the panel calibration process.
- Manual OFF-RS Compensation simulates leaving the TV turned off overnight.
- After the process starts, the TV remains in standby mode.
- Manual OFF-RS Compensation takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
To run Manual OFF-RS Compensation
- On the remote control, press the Dashboard (
) button.
- Select Display.
- Select OLED.
- Select Manual OFF-RS Compensation and set to On.
After the panel calibration (Manual OFF-RS Compensation) is complete, set it back to Off.
