    Sony Middle East and Africa FZE (“we”, “Sony”) provides you with the manufacturer’s warranty set out in sections (1) through (4) for Sony products (“Manufacturer’s Warranty”). 

    Please read the terms and conditions of the warranty provided below carefully.

    Manufacturer's warranty conditions:

    1) Sony products covered by the manufacturer's warranty:

    Sony Products means the Sony branded products listed below that you purchased as a consumer in the Republic of Turkmenistan from an authorized retailer with satisfactory proof of purchase (original invoice or sales receipt) indicating the date of purchase, product model name, retailer name/stamp.

    *Warranty does not apply to non-ES series subwoofers and speakers

    Products not included in the list above do not come with a manufacturer's warranty; please contact your local retailer for warranty information.

    2) Components not covered by the manufacturer's warranty:

    (i) Accessories (such as remote controls, adapters, cables and similar items)

    (ii) Consumables (components that are likely to require periodic replacement during the life of such goods, such as batteries and similar items)

    (iii) Small parts of the goods (such as housings, buttons, switches and similar items)

    (iv) Software and any updates thereto

    3) Manufacturer's warranty conditions:

    a) To claim the manufacturer's warranty, you must present an invoice/receipt from an authorized reseller showing the date of purchase of the Sony product.

    b) The manufacturer's warranty is only for repair of Sony products, not for replacement of products, etc.

    c) The manufacturer's warranty does not apply to:

    - Transportation to and from the service center, shipping costs, local customs charges and any other travel related expenses that may arise.

    - Dismantling and installation of the device.

    - Any physical damage or burnt components due to excess heat accumulation, corrosion caused by moisture, liquid, insects; external impact, internal broken glass, accidents, damage during transportation, power fluctuations, improper use of the product, improper maintenance, wear and tear, natural disasters, unforeseen circumstances, and/or any action contrary to or not accompanied by the instructions for use.

    - Sony products that have been damaged or repaired by anyone not authorized by Sony.

    - Sony products whose model name or serial number does not match the product name, invoice/receipt or packaging, or if they have been altered, removed or damaged.

    d) Only the Sony Authorized Service Centers listed below can conclude that the manufacturer's warranty applies in accordance with the above conditions.

    4) Disclaimer:

    To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sony products are not covered by any implied warranty (including warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose). Your only recourse is to enforce your rights or remedy any damage caused to you as provided in the manufacturer's warranty. Sony will not be liable for loss of data or any incidental, indirect, consequential or contractual damages (including loss of profits or revenues) arising out of or in connection with Sony products, whether based on contract, tort or any other legal theory.
