If audio from a Bluetooth device is interrupted or out of sync with the TV screen, this article provides troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue. Learn how to adjust the Bluetooth Delay setting, reconnect the Bluetooth device, and improve audio synchronization and connection stability.
What you may experience
- Lip-sync issues may occur depending on the connected Bluetooth device.
- Audio may intermittently cut out depending on factors such as wireless interference, or other environmental conditions.
Adjust the Bluetooth Delay settings
Bluetooth devices may process audio differently, which can cause the sound to play before or after the video. Use the Bluetooth Delay setting to fine-tune audio synchronization for your specific device.
- On the remote control, press the Dashboard (
) button.
- Select Audio output.
- Select Bluetooth Delay.
- Adjust the value between 0 and 500 until the audio is synchronized for your device.
Note: The default Bluetooth Delay setting is 280.
Reconnect the Bluetooth device
Lip-sync delay may increase after extended use, depending on the connected Bluetooth device.
If this occurs, follow these steps to disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth device:
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- When the Home screen is displayed, press the Dashboard (
- Select All Settings.
- Select Remotes and Accessories.
- Select Bluetooth devices.
- Disconnect the Bluetooth device, then reconnect it.
If the issue continues, use a wired connection, such as an HDMI cable, for the most stable audio performance.
