Why can't the connected external display devices (for example, television, projector) display the entire image?

Only one portion of the images that are being output to the external display devices on the entire screen are displayed (zooming effect).

Please reduce the resolution of the display settings of the computer to avoid this symptom. Since some display devices cannot handle high resolution of 1024x768, please refer to the user manual of these devices for more information.

Please follow the steps below to reduce the resolution of the display settings.
    1. Click Start, point to Settings and click Control Panel.
    2. In Display Properties, select the Settings tab and change the Resolution settings to other values lower than 1024x768.

Note: The function of the combined Fn and F7 keys is automatically disabled when resolution settings of 1400x1050 are utilised.
