    About this download

    For users of Visual and Voice Editor Version 1.0/1.1, the Visual and Voice Editor Version 1.2.01 upgrade program is now available.

    Improvements of Voice Editor Version 1.2.01 Upgrade Program :

    1. Converting a message into a Macromedia Flash (SWF) file.
      Users can convert a computer message to a Macromedia Flash (SWF) file by specifying its image size, sound quality, destination and effect (fade in/slide in).

      A converted Flash (SWF) file can be played back with the Flash Player Ver.6 or later, or an Internet browser with the plug-in software for the Flash Player Ver.6 or later installed.

    2. JPEG files other than those captured with a Visual IC recorder are supported.
      In previous versions of the Visual and Voice Editor, users can use an image captured with a Visual IC recorder for a title picture or a bookmark only.

      Registering a JPEG file except for that captured with a Visual IC recorders for a title picture or bookmark is possible.

    3. Several symptoms of the software have been resolved.

    Visual and Voice Editor 1.1.01 Upgrade program is applicable for the following Microsoft© Operating System:

    For Windows® XP and Windows® 2000 Professional users:

    • Log on with the Administrator account (user name) when installing Memory Stick File Rescue software.

    Download Procedure
    1. Create a folder VVE_Up in C: drive to store the downloaded file.
    2. Save the downloaded file (VVE1.2.01eUpgrade.EXE) in this folder.
    3. When the download is completed, use Windows Explorer to browse to the folder where the file is saved. Click View and click Details.
    If the file size is the same as the download size of 14,783 KB, the download is successful.
    If the size is different, please delete the file and download it again.

    Installation Procedure
    1. Close all the programs that are currently opened.2. Go to Start and click Run. Type C:\VVE_Up\VVE1.2.01eUpgrade.EXE and click OK.3. Follow the on screen instructions to install the upgrade.4. When the message Visual and Voice Editor has been successfully installed. appears, click Finish.5. Please restart the computer. Installation Verification

    • Open the file in C:\Program Files\Sony\Visual and Voice Editor\Readme.txt
      If Improvements (Version 1.2.01) is mentioned in the text, the upgrade has been completed successfully.

      OR

    • Open Visual and Voice Editor and select About Visual and Voice Editor from the Help menu.
      If Visual and Voice Editor Version 1.2.01.01120 is displayed on the About Visual and Voice Editor dialog box, the installation is completed successfully.
