Purpose of the AV mode button on the TX series VAIO computers.
In AV mode, users can playback CD/DVD or browse pictures stored in Memory Stick or SD card without starting Windows® XP. Users can start AV mode simply by pressing the AV mode button when VAIO computer is powered off or in hibernation.
In addition, users can switch to Windows® XP from AV mode. For more operation information about AV mode, please refer to the user manual provided with the VAIO computer.
