There is no sound from rear speakers when connecting the soundbar/home theater system to BRAVIA 3
When using a soundbar or home theater system in combination with the BRAVIA 3 TV, the following issues may occur:
- If you play a surround sound source (such as a 5.1 channel) on your TV or a connected device, and then switch to a regular stereo (2-channel) source, the TV may still think it’s playing surround sound. As a result, the rear speakers on your soundbar or home theater system might not produce any sound.
Note: This issue occurs with both supplied speakers and optional ones. - If you are using a soundbar or home theater system compatible with the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app, the display may not correctly show the playback of the stereo (2-channel) source on the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app.
If this happens, turn off the power of the BRAVIA 3 TV using the remote control, wait for 1 minute, and then turn it back on.
