How to reset the soundbar or home theater system

For how to reset the soundbar or home theater system, refer to the following:

• The reset method differs depending on the product.
• The settings return to their initial status. Settings such as volume, function, sound settings and/or personal information stored on the system may be change.

Select another model

• To reset the bar speaker:
  Press and hold power on the bar speaker for more than 10 seconds.
  The main status indicator on the bar speaker flashes in white and blue alternately and the reset starts. When the reset is complete, the bar speaker turns on automatically and the main status indicator on the bar speaker lights in white.
• To reset the subwoofer:
  Press and hold LINK on the subwoofer for more than 10 seconds.
  The power indicator on the subwoofer flashes in white and blue alternately and the reset starts. When the reset is complete, the power indicator on the subwoofer will light in red. If the bar speaker is turned on, the subwoofer will automatically connect to the bar speaker and the power indicator on the subwoofer lights in white.

Note: After the reset, the device registration on the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app will be disabled. To register the device, delete the pairing information using your smartphone, and try the registration again.

How to delete the pairing information

The following descriptions are just examples. For details about the settings on the smartphone, refer to the smartphone manual.

• Android smartphone
  1. Swipe down on the screen, and tap the Bluetooth icon to set the Bluetooth function to ON.
  2. Select Settings → Device connection.
  3. On the Previously connected devices list, to the right of LE_xxxxx (the model name you want to delete), select the Settings icon.
  4. Select Forget → Forget device.
• iPhone / iPad
  1. Select Settings → Bluetooth to set the Bluetooth function to ON.
  2. To the right of LE_xxxxx (the model name you want to delete), select the Information icon.
  3. Select Forget This Device.

Hint: If LE_xxxxx (the model name you want to delete) and the device model name are displayed on the Previously connected devices list, delete both.
