How to re-pair your Voice command remote control to your TV
If you are experiencing issues using the Mic button/voice command function on your Voice command remote control, please try the following steps to unpair and re-pair the remote.
NOTES:
- After you replace your Voice command remote control, re-pairing the remote control for voice search functionality is required.
- After updating your TV, re-pairing the remote control for voice search functionality may be required.
| For Android TVs released in 2015 If you are using this type of remote control, follow the steps below. |
- Unpair the Voice command remote control (Touchpad Remote Control) from the TV.
- Using the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Bluetooth setting in the Network & Accessories category.
- Select Device list.
- Select SONY TV REMOTE 001.
- Select Unpair.
- Select OK.
- Re-pair the Voice command remote control (Touchpad Remote Control) to the TV.
- Using the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Touchpad Remote Control settings in the Network & Accessories category.
- Select Pair Touchpad Remote Control.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

- Unpair the Voice command remote control from the TV.
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Settings.
- Select Bluetooth settings in the Network & Accessories category.
- Select Device list.
- Select SONY TV RC MIC 001.
- Select Unpair.
- Select OK.
- Re-pair the Voice command remote control to the TV.
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Settings.
- Select Voice Remote Control in the Network & Accessories category.
- Select Activate the MIC button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
