Head Tracking Function on Sony Headphones

The Head Tracking function is only supported on certain Sony Headphones models below:

• WH-1000XM6
• LinkBuds Open WF-L910
• LinkBuds Fit WF-LS910N
• ULT WEAR WH-ULT900N
• WF-1000XM5
• WH-1000XM5*
• Linkbuds WF-L900*
• Linkbuds S WF-LS900N*

* These models require firmware update to latest version first. Please install Sony | Sound Connect app and connect your headphones to the app in order to update to latest firmware version.

Head Tracking function allows you to use the Sony | Sound Connect app to optimize the spatial sound by measuring the angle at which your headphones are worn. When using Android Head Tracking and spatial sound compatible services, you can enjoy an accurate audio experience.

Note: Availability of the Head Tracking function depends on the smartphone model and Android OS version.

To start the measurement with compatible smartphone and Sony Headphones, open your Sony | Sound Connect app, go under My Devices in the main dashboard, select Device settings, then Spatial Sound and Head Tracking and select MEASURE.
