What does the indicator on the subwoofer or rear speaker mean?
The BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7 and BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 have an indicator to indicate the product status. For details on the status, check the following:
- The status on turning On/ Off
- Lights up in red
The unit is in standby mode. - Turns off
The unit is turned off.
- Lights up in red
- Connecting status with the main audio device
- Lights up in white
The unit is connected to the main audio device. - Flashes slowly in white
The unit is waiting for a connection from the main audio device.
Hint: When the connection fails, the indicator starts lighting up in red.

Software update or reset, etc. is in progress. - Flashes in white
Wireless function is off. Operate LINK to turn on the wireless function. - Flashes in red
